Dermatology combines science, observation and experience. It is this approach that guides each consultation, seeking to understand each case in its entirety and define a rigorous diagnosis, followed by a personalized treatment plan based on the best available scientific evidence.
The consultation is oriented to identify the problem, establish a diagnosis and define a clear and feasible treatment plan. Whenever necessary, dermoscopy, clinical photography, biopsy or other procedures are used to speed up the diagnosis and avoid prolonged empirical treatments.
The goal is to offer a rigorous, practical approach adapted to each case, with clear explanations and adequate follow-up.

Clinical Dermatology
He currently works in the Algarve and Lisbon region, dedicating himself to medical and surgical dermatology, with special interest in skin cancer, inflammatory skin diseases and hair diseases.
It maintains a continuous scientific update through participation in societies such as SPDV, EADV and ASDS, integrating the latest advances in Dermatology into daily clinical practice.
Differentiation and international projection
Complementary training in reference centers in the United States, with internships in Dermatopathology, Clinical Dermatology and Mohs Surgery in Texas, as well as in Trichology at NYU Langone Health, in New York. At the same time, development of scientific activity with publication of articles in international medical journals and regular participation in national and international congresses.
Specialization in Dermatology
Beginning of specialized training in Dermatovenereology at Santa Maria Hospital, a national reference university hospital, deepening knowledge in medical dermatology, dermatological surgery and diagnostic technologies.
Training in Internal Medicine
Complementary training in Internal Medicine at Hospital da Luz Lisboa, acquiring a global view of the patient and the relationship between skin health and general health.
Completion of medical training
Completion of the Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine and admission to the Portuguese Medical Association. Beginning of postgraduate training, consolidating a solid clinical basis for future specialization.
Beginning of the course in Medicine
Admission to the Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, starting an academic career marked by rigor, dedication and interest in clinical research.
Education
Learn from different reference centers.
The specialty in Dermatovenereology was carried out at Santa Maria Hospital, in Lisbon, one of the main national reference centers in the area. Throughout her training, she complemented this path with internships in international institutions of excellence, especially NYU Langone Health, in New York, where she deepened her knowledge in Trichology.
